WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE AUCTION

 

 

  1. Register online before the event on IronPlanet.com.
  2. Get approved to bid on IronPlanet.com here.
  3. Preview the equipment online and read through guaranteed inspection reports.
  4. Visit the auction yard the week before the sale to view the equipment in-person. Some items will sell from their original location and may not be in Florida.

WHAT TO EXPECT THE DAY OF THE AUCTION

 

  1. Register onsite.
    a.
    If you registered online, bring your photo ID to the registration booth.
    b. If you are not registered online, visit the registration booth to register with Cat Auction Services. All buyers must meet the Cat Auction Services bidder qualifications to place bids onsite. Bring your photo ID, a tax exemption form for proof of exemption, and a letter of credit if you plan to pay by check. International bidders must provide a $10,000 deposit.
  2. Ready? Set. Bid! Watch the equipment on the Cat Auction Services giant LEADERBOARD and place your bids.

I’VE WON AN ITEM. WHAT’S NEXT?

 

  1. Make your payment to Cat Auction Services using cash, check, wire transfers, cashier’s check, credit cards (up to $10,000), Cat Financial Commercial Account (Cat Access) or money orders. Payment includes price of the item and buyer fees.
  2. Arrange for transportation. Equipment located onsite in Kissimmee, Florida can be picked up starting February 16 and must be moved off the lot by March 13. During the auction, vendors will be onsite in the vendor area to assist.
